October 05 Seminar - by Dwight Byers

Dwight has over 40 years of Reflexology experience and is a pleasure to meet.
This seminar covered working with hand reflexes, carpal tunnel syndrome and Dwights own specialised manipulation techniques.

May 2006
William Baker took paqrt in two Reflexology courses for advanced Reflexologists.

The first course was at Stirling, Scotland.
We covered Refferal areas in the body and practiced accupressure as an extension to foot reflexology.
Accupressure uses certain pin point areas on the body to help specific ailements. (Accupressure is accupuncture without needles).

The second course was at Elgin, Scotland nr Inverness. This course covered all aspects of working with cancer patient in a hospice environment.
I am volunteering my Reflexology skills to benifit people in hospice care. This type of work is very benificial, although reflexology may not cure cancer it can improve dramaticaly the pain and discomfort(phyisical and emotional) of those undergoing conventional treatments for cancer.

November 2006
William.S.Baker attended a Somatic Reflexology course with Emma Gierschick (President of the Reflexology Association of Australia). The course looked at how deep seated emotions can affect our health. We also looked at techniques to release these trapped emotions and balance the body for better health. This has proved to be a usefull tool in my practice which has benifited my clients greatly.

During 2007 William undertook training to become a Reiki Practitioner. Acheiving Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 levels.
I enjoy giving Reiki treatments as well as receiving them as it is such a relaxing and pleasent therapy that seems to heal at a very deep level as well as to recharge your battery.

As a Member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners, William is qualified to work within the NHS.

William Baker is fully qualified and happy to work with children with health problems, as well as adults.
He currently holds an Enhanced Disclosure Certificate for working with children.
